DeLoraen Time Circuit 4.1.9

This application emulates the Time Circuit Panel, similar to the one installed in the DeLorean Time Machine, an invention of Doc Brown, the key character from one of the iconic movies of the 1980s – you know which one, "Back To The Future."

It offers more than just a mock-up; it functions as a timer device. The "Present Time" feature displays your iPhone or iPod's current system time, serving as a stylish digital clock for your car. The "Last Time Departed" indicates when you last launched the application. The "Destination Time" sets a signal – an electronic alarm sound – for a specific time.

For iPhone users, there is an option called "88MPH Time Travel Simulation." This feature utilizes the built-in GPS to monitor your speed. Upon reaching 88 MPH, the application triggers sounds and shifts the displayed time from "Present Time" to your chosen "Destination," simulating a time jump. The app automatically resumes normal operation after a few seconds. However, please be aware that traveling at 88 MPH is ILLEGAL on most public roads. Prior to any experiments, verify this and prioritize safety. Do note that this function is optimized for iPhones with a real hardware GPS chip and may not perform well on iPods or non-3G iPads.

The "Time Distance" screen exhibits the time gap in seconds, minutes, hours, days, and weeks between the Present and Destination times. To access this screen, tap on the "DIST" label.

You can adjust the "Destination Time" by tapping slightly above or below the digits on the screen. To enter the Destination time manually, tap on the respective numbers. For month selection, input "05" for May, "06" for June, etc., while "0" and "1" set the AM/PM time.
